i watched a few more proposal fails after this and noticed that the woman, upon rejecting the man, always runs out of the room. it's a testament to the power of human emotion. i think it's beautiful.

how does a relationship get to the point where a marriage proposal fails? or a man's mentality is such that he thinks a lavish proposal will create what has been missing. it's quite interesting.
